OS 4.5 has not (at the time of writing) been officially released, but this link gives you downloads of the OS and detailed instructions for how to install it.

I've been running 4.5 for a few days now, and I like it a lot. It changes the predictive text significantly (I think I was on 4.2, I have seen 4.3 and the predictive text on that seems similar). It adds folders to the applications screen which is quite handy... it's supposed to fix a lot of other bugs, but I haven't been using it enough to say that yet.
