Boffer - BOC

I made my first order from one of those 'deal of the day' websites, in this case it was: Boffer. I finally decided to give it a go when hey had a 'BOC' or Bag Of Crap sell off! With a BOC you get three items, and there is no guarantee at all that you will receive stuff that's good or that works!

I have to say, I'm quite pleased with what I got in my BOC.

Last night, Eleanor and myself sat down, with The Big Bang Theory waiting to go (I couldn't think of anything more fitting for a web order of crap!), and we opened up the rather large and strange almost fish shaped package I had received that morning (from a helpeful delivery driver who rang me twice on my mobile to check if he could leave the package around the back of the house).

The wrapping was pretty tight, so after quite a lot of cutting, we got through the first layer of packaging... some more cutting, and we were through the bubble wrap.

My three items:

  • An underwater camera - with flash! It's one of those cameras that takes film. I remember those.
  • An inflatable chair - with drinks holder. This chair is designed for use in water though, not on land.
  • A skim board! This one I am very excited about, I've genuinely always wanted to try out a skim board, and as Eleanor pointed out, it's even a branded one: 'No Fear'.

Expect to see some photos on the site soon (that I've had to scan in, because they will be on the same stuff that comes out of printers - paper), of myself and Eleanor trying ou the skim board soon. All we need is some sun, and a nice beach... maybe 'soon' is a little over ambitious!

All in all, I'd give a BOC another go. It was fun. I was excited and nervous when it came to opening the package, I didn't expect to be nervous!
